Explore the gorgeous winding sections of the River Arun from Pulborough to the pub at Stopham where you can pause for a quick drink and bite to eat if you are so inclined.
Next to the pub, you can carry on paddling under the Grade 1 listed Stopham Bridge. This historic building is thought to have been built around 1422.
Enjoy spotting the local birds and dragonflies on your double sit-on-top kayak and keep an eye out for the occasional fish leaping out of the water.
Along the way, you can discover a small side stream leading to the River Rother confluence. This beautiful weir is a great stop off either on your way back or to the pub.
One of Fluid Adventures’ staff members will meet you at the get on to the river, providing a map and some ideas of what to do and where to go.
Don’t fear falling in either, the double sit-on-top kayaks are stable, easy to manoeuvre and are great fun!
So you should be safe…although we can’t guarantee you won’t get a bit wet!
