Learn Printmaking from the best on a 1970s Caribbean cruiser...

Hosted by: Bristol Art Workshops, Barbara Ash

Take a trip out of the city & get creative...

Make your own lino cut, hand-printed cards, prints postcards, and bookmarks to adorn your home or share as unique gifts for friends and family on the peaceful front deck of a 1970s ‘Caribbean cruiser’ in Portishead Marina.

This is an opportunity to get an insight into how linocut art prints are made, by designing and hand printing cards/prints to take home.

Enjoy a glass of wine or a coffee to get the inspiration flowing as you discover your creative side and print your own handmade gifts.

Barbara is an award winning artist and sculptor based in Portishead; she will have everything you need including inspiration, imagery, stencils, hand-carved stamps, printing inks, soft cut lino blocks and tools.

She’ll show you how to carve lino blocks and print. You’ll be printing with a range of colours in water based inks onto high quality printing paper.
